BIO
I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Wheaton, to be exact, and I moved to Indiana to attend college at Taylor University in 2014. While there, I was a member of the football team and graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education and an endorsement in K-12 Special Education in the fall of 2018. Upon graduation, I had student taught at R.J. Baskett Middle School, which connected me to Mississinewa Community Schools. From this connection, I graciously accepted my first teaching job at Northview, teaching Special Education. I spent five years as a Special Education Teacher at Northview and, during this, earned a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Ball State University. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I also coached varsity football at Mississinewa High School for four seasons. I am also married to my wife, Ashley, who is a special education teacher. Having lived and worked in Gas City, I've come to deeply appreciate the Mississinewa Community for its cherished values, strong sense of community, and unique support for the school corporation.

BIO
After graduating from Alexandria Monroe High School, I attended Marian University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education while playing four years of collegiate softball. I later earned my administrative license through Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2023, my family and I moved to Gas City, where I taught high school special education and assisted with the Mississinewa High School softball program. I am excited to begin this new chapter as Assistant Principal at Northview Elementary.
Over the past 20 years, I have served in a variety of educational roles, including self-contained special education teacher, third-grade teacher, sixth-grade math teacher, high school special education teacher, and assistant principal. With 17 years of experience at the elementary level, I am passionate about supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
I believe strong relationships and open communication are the foundation of a successful school. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where students feel supported, families feel connected, and staff members are empowered to help every child reach their full potential.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Northview community and look forward to building lasting relationships with our students, families, and staff.
